Jupiter's moon Europa is wrapped in a half-mile-thick mantle of ice, and beneath it is the only off-world ocean known to humanity. A tiny research station in orbit around Europa discovers things under the ice—things that send U.N. weapons inspector Nathan Kane to Europa to make an assessment.
