Nerissa is an Action Fantasy Manga in two parts. Dutch writer Robert Alexander and the talented illustrator Littleling from Hong Kong have once again joined forces. Awakening and Revelation together form a unique story, loosely based on the Chinese legend of the White Snake.
In Awakening, we meet London surgeon Nerissa Pottinger. She discovers that she is the daughter of Yuxin, the White Snake—a revelation that shocks the rational-minded Nerissa. After a spiritual confrontation in Hong Kong, she rushes back to London in a hurry.
Along the way, she encounters Mo Hei’an, whose charms turn out to be a dangerous façade. This betrayal forces Nerissa to confront the truth about herself. Soon, she must return to Hong Kong, where an ancient enemy awaits her.
To save her father and free her mother, Nerissa must embrace her true nature. Together with her protector Jade, she enters a world of ancient magic, dark forces, and life-altering choices. Epic battles follow, and not everyone will survive…
Revelation is the second and final part of Nerissa’s first epic adventure: a powerful conclusion in which fate is fulfilled, dark magic is faced, and nothing will ever be the same again.
