Een uniek exemplaar in deze collectie. Rechthoekig met elastiek rond het boek. ( Engelstalig) Schuiten riep na enkele pagina's van sfeertekeningen over Mars de hulp in van Tesson Sylvain een wereldreiziger om toch een verhaal mee te helpen schrijven rond de tekeningen die hij maakte voor deze collectie van Louis Vuitton. Twee jaar heeft Schuiten hieraan gewerkt. deze collectie bevat meestal enkel tekeningen en foto's maar hier maakten ze een uitzondering omdat er meer in zat. het verhaal gaat over een koppel ' Rubinauten ' die naar Mars gestuurd worden omdat hier op aarde alles aan het exploderen is. hun missie is het onderzoeken of er een energiebron aanwezig is want dit is noodzakelijk om daar een eerste aardse nederzetting te plaatsen. daar begint dan de eerste confrontatie met de waarden die ze meekregen.... PS wist je dat Schuiten lid is van een groep mensen die rampscenario's schrijft voor het leger?
