When Princess Philomel finds a mysterious novel that features herself as the villain, she’s quick to dismiss the similarities—sure, she may be a little spoiled, but she’s no evil imposter plotting the downfall of the empire! Or so she thinks, until the events written in the book start coming true, and she is forced to admit that it tells the truth, that she is what the story describes—a fake. And so begins her desperate struggle to change the future and avoid the horrific fate end she suffers in the book!
